I've always loved capturing my daughter in sunflowers each year, so it was such a treat capturing clients among the beautiful blossoms! Summer weather can be unpredictable and I had been monitoring the weather ALL day as it was constantly changing with scattered storms. I talked to the sunflower garden owner, since the location was about 40 minutes from me, and things were looking good to them and on radar, but when we first arrived there were big thunder booms in the distance! I was super worried because my clients had traveled even further, but luckily the rain held off and we lucked out with the beautiful, dramatic clouds and skies!
